I do not understand the reason why everybody talks about Okoumal and nobody talks about Phantolide ketal adding a methyl group to it. The chemical is extraordinary, surprising, amazing and astonishing, much more vibrant, alive vivacious and exciting than Okoumal, muskier, stronger, more diffusive, fresher and longer lasting. It makes extraordinary accords with frankincense oil ex Boswelia carterii or Boswelia sacra, with 100% terpeneless Cistus oil, with myrhh oil Vulcain, Baies Rose Extract CO2 from the Reunion islands, enriched with Exaltolide and a bit of the royal, splendid and magnificent dextro Muscenone (not known by many but being the pure isomer of Cis-3-Methyl cyclopentadec-5-en-one, which is much stronger, purer, impressive, fabulously richer and longer lasting than regular Muscenone) and civettone, the longest lasting of the musk chemicals.ll this mixed with traces of Cypriol Coeur and Ambrostar, one of the materials that very soon would be setting a trend in perfumery as Ambrocenide is doing. Once this "heart" accord is radiating, glowing and blistering olfactory beauty, we can add some (-)-Patchoulol in order to enrich the described chemical and this mixture magnified by the softness of extremely purified Cedrenes from Virginian Cedarwood oil. Once this accord is worked, developed and refined, it brings full of harmony to a Sandalwood note whose major ingredient is the soft, pale, pastel-woody and very cosmetic Dartanol enriched a lot by Osyrol, Ebanol, sensual Firsantol, Sandalore, Mysoral and Vulcanolide while adding a spice note with cascarilla oil and some terpeneless Nutmeg oil and the chamomile-honey charm and magnetic “Cammomille Ester” . When this lovely blend is full of beauty and exquisiteness, we can add some woody notes like Cedramber, Boisambrene Forte, dextro nor limbanol, Limbanol and Firwood and also adding some violet Flower Supra 40837-2/D which is a superb reconstitution of the scent of the living flower (Viola Odorata) having the so called “Parmone” (needing extremely pure qualities of α-Ionone, β-Ionone, Dihydro-α-ionone and Dihydro-β-ionone) and a combination of Splendione and Paradisone together with very sophisticated and newly patented green notes and a bit of the velvety and soft ambery Dihydro-γ-ionone, Ambrox classique (the one containing ambrols) plus Iso-γ-Super that rounds the whole fragrance which needs some vetiver from Madagascar, the closest quality to the old fabled “Bourbon” with its smoky top note that combines so supremely with the non fecal agarwood Jewel… then some animal touch like Castoreum Absolute from Canada and our Amber Gris Tincture 3% 44297/D which is unbelievably and exceptionally sensual and physically so attractive. A Bit of the mentioned Agarwood “Jewel” 40828-8/D, by far the best reconstitution in the world of the natural Indonesian product, traces of Spirolide 90 and many other ingredients like Hydrocarboresine, Cistus absolute SIS, Dynamone, Irone V, Guaiac wood “Coeur”, cumin, cardamom and Cascalone that create an amazing allure, magnetism, charm and fascination of the mind and of the senses to be topped with a touch of Bulgarian or Taifian Rose oils and the unsurpassed Iralia. It is impossible to get the lovely, exquisite, charming and almost Divine mixture while replacing the “Phantolide Ketal + a methyl Group” with a very secret trivial name by Okoumal. Okoumal is much heavier and less diffusive as compared to the described captive ingredient which is the heart of the hearts of the fragrance…. When smelling this amazingly cared and worked fragrance I can feel that magic and mysteries still exist in the world, I can listen the sound of the waves not too far from the terraces of my beloved Vil•la Ithaka hidden in the forested mountains north of Barcelona where I spend some months every year while sensing these indescribable Catalonian stars while listening the Mozart Concerto for clarinet and orchestra in A K 622… and this combination of Latin marine cool breeze, olfactory beauty and the classical peaceful music nourish my soul…feeling in paradise and inside the delightful Platonic “Pink Cloud” that takes the spirit to the heavens with an glamour of purity… will I sell this fragrance?, most likely not! The market is far from this spiritual state when you create stars of light!
