I dont have much new to report this morning except we werent put on mandatory evacuation. We are hoping the air tanker reinforcements can stop the forward progress. If it moved more north than east during the night we should be out of harms way. Some of the mandatory evacuations in the area have been lifted so that is a good thing. I really wont have much of a sense of it until the fire front raises its ugly head this morning. Right now I am headed down to feed and clean up after a lot of alpacas. We more than doubled our herd of 50+ yesterday. I know we will be forever grateful for the prayers and the heroic efforts of our fire fighters.
