There are many people who are seeking to adopt a nice horse. We only have three green broke horses to adopt. They require experienced handlers, and we highly recommend if adopted they go to a reputable trainer for additional schooling. The remaining horses are elderly, been used up, have physical and mental issues, thank you human beings..BUT with that said I will say this, I am grateful that their former humans turned them over as oppose to sending them to auction/slaughter. Now their lives consist of doing what they do best...BEING a HORSE...treated with respect and dignity. We all deserve such. At this time we are unable to take on anymore horses, we have our hands full. Hay is at an all time high and so we too are feeling the crunch, but the horses will NEVER go without.
