I dont know how to say this, but I will try, because its very bothersome and perhaps we can discuss this matter in a modest fashion as I would like to hear from you all. Scrolling through my feed, a picture of a woman sitting in a tub with her legs spread open, her husband behind her and a baby popping out from In between her legs, appeared brightly in my face. She was wearing a bikini top and nothing else. Husband shirtless too. Tho photo led me away from seeing the beautiful event of a baby being born to seeing a show of utter nakedness. Now, I know that some of us are pro birth, pro breast feeding. And so am I. However I find that displaying such imagery for all to see in the name of birth is just so immodest. The way the whole picture was displayed was so awful. I would of shared it but I want to respect the couple. You can however go to google and see many suck like photos. But Im sure many of you have seen what I am describing. What do you think of such postings? Do you think its modest? Men, would you like the world to see your women displayed like that for the whole world to see in the name of birth? Is it necessary to use such imagery to share a birth story? I have seen stories/videos of many beautiful home births and the women are atleast covered. Or they have a slide show going, sharing the journey, but skip the indecency (because you know what happens) and show the baby in her arms right after with a nice photo of the couple, both dressed holding their new born. Let us discuss this issue in a modest fashion. Please and thank you.
