I dont know if this was somehow edited to appear like this, but, if it wasnt ..... This is disgraceful. For those of you who havent served, the hand salute is a sign of respect between those in authority and those that are subordinate to them. It is a simple courtesy rendered with honor and dignity, and it is a gesture that means a lot between those who render it and receive it. It is not given nor received lightly. That notion is obviously lost on our current Commander in Chief, if this video is as advertised (and I hope it isnt). It says a lot, to me, anyway how he views our military, if true. BTW, the Marines responsible for flying, maintaining, and transporting the President and his family aboard Marine 1 are hand picked, the best of the best our Marine Corps has to offer. They spend long hours making sure that he, his family, and others traveling with him arrive at their destinations on time, safely, and effiiciently. That he would salute them with a coffee cup in his hand demonstrates how little regard he has for those charged with the safety of himself, his family and those travelling with him. Again, I hope this wasnt edited or modified to look like this. Anyone with expertise in audio or video editing, chime in if you would with your opinion.
