I dont know too many details but it could make sense. Thais are servile and pleasing the boss is the most important thing. At the same time, they look down at foreigners, especially Burmese. In that sense, it would match that to please the bosses they took two Burmese as scapegoats and in a fraudulent manner built a case, which would never hold the water in a decent court. This again serves as an example why Thailand will never progress and move ahead unfortunately, despite the great efforts undertaken by the Prime Minister. One day the backlash will come as it always came with previous shady miscarriages of justice. Unfortunately, the officials who created this blatant miscarriage of justice will never be held accountable, therefore there will never be a deterrent from repetition of such behaviour. Only when quality education and fair access to justice will be firmly instituted in Thailand, will the country move forward. Sad but true.
