I dont know what the consensus is among Crestwoodians (and others) regarding Melt, but my buddy Bert and I had a great meal there before our weekly movie-thon Friday night! First, the service was terrific—the place was very, very busy. More important, the food was delicious. We shared the tempura-battered veggies, as well as a bleu cheese wedge salad that almost brought tears to my eyes. Bert got a mushroom/truffle sandwich on sourdough and I got the Hawaiian sandwich, which was ham, grilled pineapple, and habañero-jack cheese on pretzel bread. Jiminy! We both got the great homemade chips and washed it all down with blueberry tea/IPA shandies! GO! By all means GO!!!
