I dont know where to start. Mr. Brink, you helped me through so - TopicsExpress

I dont know where to start. Mr. Brink, you helped me through so much in my sophomore year, and as Ive told you, I could never repay the debt that I so greatly owe to you. For students who were never fortunate to have had a conversation with him, he was one of the kindest, most generous people Ive ever had the fortune to know. Earlier today someone asked me what my favorite memory was with him. I told them it was when I used to sit at his desk just to eat lunch and hed tell me stories about his daughters and his time with them. He went on to tell me about how theyd make him late for work and that it was all okay. Ill never forget the days that he noticed people were down so hed perform insane experiments in our chemistry doubles that had nothing to do with what we were learning about. Hed set a giant gummy bear on fire and laugh maniacally. And of course who could forget the mole dance? Whatever kind of day I was having, he could always make it better even two years after he was my teacher. He made it his business to say hello to everybody using their first name. Hed ask how people are doing. Hed smile no matter what. When asked how he was doing, I cant think of a time when his answer was anything but great or good. Mr. Brink, you brightened up this campus like nobody else. You always knew how to make those around you smile. You were there for me when nobody else was on my side. For that, I am eternally grateful. Thank you for everything youve done for me and the other students impacted by your kindness. Rest in peace, Mr. Brink. You truly were one of the best.
