I dont post often, but I couldnt resist talking about one of the best birthdays ever - even though it is the big 50 as some would say. My mom always said that age is a state of mind and sometime I will get out of my teenage years. It started with my kids coming in for the weekend to just spend time together - from scouting the deer woods to hunting to eating and all falling asleep watching a late night movie. I couldnt ask for anymore than spending time with my family. Today was awesome as well. It was great to see so many notes from my friends, which just made my day, and after getting in pretty late (which is not out of the norm for the Masseys - lol), we facetimed the other kids, they sang happy birthday, blew out candles, ate cake (kinda hard for the out of towners), and then started reading the 50 memories that my kids said about our different times together from hunting and fishing to coaching and playing ball to playing late night games to tucking them in at night. It was a great and memorable birthday. I am so blessed!
