I dont see whats wrong with vigils and lighting candles and why suddenly people are just getting all offensive about it. Our problem is even after such a massive traumatising incident, we STILL cant stop analyzing and pointing out what everyone else is doing wrong. We arent defying Islam or following Christianity. No one has stopped the practise of reading the Quran for the departed souls. Lighting candles is setting a language for everybody and an international sign of support. There are millions of people (non-Muslims and non-Pakistanis included) around the world lighting candles, praying, thinking and taking time out to send their love to these children. Theres genuinely nothing more beautiful for the families to know that the whole world stands with them. Just be positive cause either way- an infinite amount of Duas are being sent. Arguing with me isnt gonna do anything guys. Allah Subhanahu Wa TaAla knows whats in our hearts and our intentions.
