I dont think I have ever shared a work in progress picture before but wanted to show you this as I am working on an exciting commission for my mum. The central painting was completed and framed in January. It shows my 2 children and their cousins in a secret garden setting. Since then my mum has been keen to add a further 2 paintings to it to turn it into a triptych. The side panels will not have figures in but will hopefully bring some more of the atmosphere of the secret garden. Working on a triptych is particularly challenging as each piece needs to work as a painting in its own right as well as one whole painting. Once finished, this piece will measure roughly 48x24.
