I dont touch on politics, but Ferguson is something that cannot be ignored. First, there are still Federal proceedings forthcoming against Darren Wilson- I do hope that his family becomes penniless, and that his first born child never learns to read. Secondly, Im disgusted in how many people I know personally that speak without educating themselves, prior. Im appalled by how many jump so freely to racism as the cause of why this officer was not indicted today. Racism should not be a factor in 2014, but sadly, it is evident that its only been swept under the rug, until a tragedy such as this reveals it to be alive and well, in America. I come from a strong friend & family background of cops. GOOD COPS. NOT PUSSIES. With that being said, an injustice has been served to Michael Brown today. Black or white, an unarmed man was shot and killed. This is a problem with our justice system, not of race. We should be questioning who is protecting us, rather than the color of that persons skin. Wilson should be held accountable for his actions. Because you wear a badge, you do not earn a pass on murder…or perhaps in this case, sadly... you do. Wilson is a poor excuse for an officer, he is a coward, and a disgrace to the law enforcement in which we are expected to trust. The rioters & looters? Shitheads, at best. You capitalize on a young mans death for personal gain, and have successfully set our country back decades through your actions. There is a right way to protest, and most have responded as incapacitated invalids. But remember, Brown was stealing blunts, (unarmed) from a convenience store and was shot in the head by a cop. Kids make mistakes & do dumb things…but do you feel safe?
