CHARACTERS & LINES: Alex: Male, medium to high-pitched tone. Loyal. Naive. Trustworthy. 1. (unsure) Ch-...chase? Jace? No, it is Chase? (realising, he giggles) Oh no you WANT to chase! Haha, okay boy, ready? Go for it! 2. (crying) Stay alive! STAY ALIVE! Please, I need you. You arent supposed to leave me yet!! 3. (doubt) ...really.? ....REALly? Honest. You swear to god. Seriously?? Luke: Male, condescending, patronizing tone. Brave, daring, undermining. 1. (shirking someone off) Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I got it! I-..I got it, just shut up, I got it. 2. (sarcastic) Sure. Because THAT was the point of all a this. 3. (laugh) Oh cmon, you cant be THAT sensitive. It was a joke. A JOKE, Alex. Erin: Female, no specific tone. Faithful, righteous, cheerful. 1. The Deputy Sheriff: Male, EXTREMELY condescending. Flippant, patronizing, crude. 1. (obnoxious laugh) Who you think yer talkin to, missy? You know Im the DEPUTY sheriff, dontcha?? 2. (annoyed) All you kids need ta shut the hell up for once. Is that so hard? Erins Mother: Female, Low to medium tone. Profound. Powerful. 1. And what is THAT supposed to mean to ME? 2. You KNOW this boy, Erin? Evan [Erins little brother]: Young boy, cute. Naive, energetic. 1. For real?! Aw, SICK! Okay okay cmon, I have to show you this Lego sculpture I built!
