I dont usually post personal information on FB, but my heart is about to burst with joy! I have to share with all because if there is one person out there that doesnt believe in the power of our Lord and the power of prayer well maybe this story will change your mind. Sixteen weeks ago my loving husband was diagnosed with a large base of the tongue mass and two hot lympnodes. Cancer!Dr. Stern said, Mr. Larry I am sorry to say it doesnt look good. My husband looked at him and said Am I going to die? Doctor said There is only one person that knows that. He wasnt a candidate for surgery due to a heart condition. We preceded with the biopsy. It was stage 4. Without treatments he was given 6 mos. With treatments it possibly could shrink. We chose treatments. He has completed 3 rounds of chemo. Today he had scans and seen his Drs. We sat in the same room today that we were in sixteen weeks ago. We seen our oncologist first Dr. Nair. He examined his neck and didnt feel any enlarged lympnodes. The nurse brought the CT reports in and as the doctor. read them he said the mass is completely gone and the lympnodes are normal size. Larry sat in shock. As if he was in disbelief. The flood gates opened for me. Sixteen weeks of all kinds of emotions flooded that room. It was if someone had pulled a plug. Larry said Did you say gone? The doctor said yes. Miraculously Gone! Then Dr. Nair held his hands. to the heavens. He left the room and Dr. Stern came in and examined the tongue and throat. He said Mr. Larry, it is gone! Of course Larry wants to see the scans! He is a show me kind of guy. Dr. Stern said I can show you but there is nothing on there to show except a normal scan. I am shouting by this time God is so good! Dr. Stern stands and says to God be the glory! Dr. Nair comes back in the room and both doctors were looking at Larry saying you have done miraculous with chemo. No more chemo. We will have 37 days of radiation to follow protocol and prevent recurrence. Sixteen weeks after diagnosis, Larry says, So I am going to live? Finally he comprehended what was being said. We have three amazing christian doctors! Dr. Pennington, Dr. Stern, and Dr. Nair. We believe in all of our doctors and their amazing ability to heal with their knowledge, skills, and medicine. We are very grateful! We also believe that our God is an awesome God and He is the Greatest Healer!! There have been alot of prayers going up for him and we appreciate each and everyone of you and all the churches that have prayed for him. The doctors told us in the beginning that a great support group is everything! Today it was awesome to say that we have an incredible support group! Believe in the power of prayer!
