This is so easy to answer that it has been reduced to a political cartoon. How? Take ALL money out of elections; use only the amount available from taxpayer contributions for that particular race; reduce the cycles to two months before the election; require all networks, cable companies, satellite companies and news-related websites to carry short but meaningful statements by candidates (no fake debates) telling us what they think and plan to do WITH REQUIRED CITATIONS and FACT-CHECKING AFTER THEY SPEAK - after they draw straws for the order they appear - then we make up our minds. THEN, all polls are open everywhere for all hours, Sundays included, and we act like responsible Americans: we vote. Send these Pol Pot impersonators to the Lost island and leave then there with the losers of Survivor to has it out.
