I dont want to hear that this was too much to read...... If it is, - TopicsExpress

I dont want to hear that this was too much to read...... If it is, then dont read it..... I wrote it to get it out of my head, more-so than I did, for it to be read.......... This Robin Williams death has really been on my mind a lot lately, more-so by a million times, than any other celebrity death which I can remember hearing about. It just made me think a lot about life, etc... and how messed up, so many really are... I wouldnt even see myself posting about another celebritys passing, at all.. Robin Williams was a different kind of celebrity for me. He was more.... Number one, he was just a class act, hilarious, genius, caring, giving and could play any role, from comedy, to drama, to a convincing psycho in that Photo Shop movie..... He even dabbled in music (Dont Worry, Be Happy)..... An entertainer supreme, with a huge heart and he had no limits. He had it all...... (?) I think that the part which gets me, is that no matter who, or how big a person is, how famous a person is or even how unbelievably talented a person can be, they cant escape being a human..... They are still affected by the same human rules/laws as any man...... You can have everything you think you want, in the entire world, but it really is the most bare essentials which are #1 the most important and #2 usually the most under-appreciated (by many), things..... Being human....Being there for people.... Help..... Love..... Educate........Lead........Following the right lead........Lessons........Interaction. Instead: People want what others have. People want to be famous. People want extreme, fancy, they want to impress, to own and to show.......... I cant understand that.... In my mind, everyones hour glass is dropping the sand at an extremely fast rate and I cant help but notice so many wonderful people waste so much sand on so much nonsense and ultimately meaningless things (which seems so important at the time)..... I think like this, just spent my last penny on a beautiful Ferrari and find out that one of my loved ones was trapped in a burning building and could not get out, I would drive that freakin car through that building so fast and pull out my loved one or anyone (for that matter), without a second thought.... (so would most people)... Without even the slightest concern for the loss of the car, the money, or really anything...... Why is that?? Because what is really important in the end, is the person, not the item......(so what are we wasting our energy on the item for?). Why cant we focus more on investing in the person and not the item??? I have no freakin idea, but it is the case......(maybe taking certain things for granted?... who knows...) Tick Tock!! Time with a person(s) is very limited, yet we focus on items, the newest this, or that..... The clothes, the tattoos, piercings the Book Cover we create or facade which we present for all to see, so we can be viewed by all, like we want them to see us, not who we really are...... I hear people say all the time, something like, dont judge people who look different (like people with odd hair-dos, clothes, piercings, tattoos, etc....,) because, he/she may be the nicest person in the world.... I cant disagree with that at all, because I have those very friends and love them...... But, the appearance is the facade that they create for others to view..... They werent born that way...... There is also a VERY REAL possibility that they will one day grow and change with their life experiences. That they may one day wish the facade which they once created, could go away, but now they are stuck with it. They will still be viewed by others as they had once wished to be viewed when they were expressing themselves in the form of creating their temporary or permanent appearance, the facade.......Too much time and energy wasted in the end, on all of that... If you want someone to know YOU, show them WHO you really are, by actions, intentions and effort..... Dont feel obligated to show them WHAT you are, by what you look like, what you have, own, or can offer..... I have heard my friends say stuff like, Oh, he is just expressing himself..... No he isnt. He is creating an image for how he wishes to be viewed by others. We have a limited amount of time in this place, with a limited amount of capability and limited energy....... All I hear is tick-tock....... and notice how so many great people, with great hearts, focus their time and energy, on items, facades, and meaningless things, while totally missing the point.... Funny thing is, most people spend their time, feeling sorrow or regret, when it comes to loss..... I think the reason is, that for even the most minute (mi-nute) period of time, when we lose someone, we realize that we cannot take it back. We realize all of the missed opportunities we had, to see someone, play catch, go for a walk, talk, teach, hug, smile, advise, spend time with, etc....... We see that we choose to do other things with our time, money and energy, instead investing in the ones we love......(what we should be doing). Even if we continue life as usual from that point on, we see it.... Even for a second. On paper, celebrities, have it all...... Money, respect, followers, freedom, possessions, etc..... To be totally honest, I dont wish to be famous, to have a ton of crap or to be fancy..... I dont want what they have. I dont want to look different than I was intended to look, to create an image, to gain friends by what I have or to be viewed by others as anything other than WHO I am. I just want to do what I was meant to do...... Love, Teach, Support, Guide, Embrace, Discipline and Lead by example. The more crap you have, the more stress you have...... I just wish that people would spend more time investing in others, more than they do in things and facades, because, whether they see it now, or not, it will certainly reciprocate back to them and/or their loves ones.......and that, to me, is the most important thing........
