I don’t like sad love stories, they irritate me. I know they exist, they are everywhere around us; couples fighting or some even killing each other! These are very natural situations and do happen around us. But what should we learn from them? To become hopeless and die in vain? Get drunk and curse the world that love’s just evil? I don’t think that should be a good idea. Where is the silver lining then? I am too in a long distance relationship now, its not that I am here to brag about it like how lucky I am to be blessed by god that he bestowed upon me the heavenly flowers of love (I know that was too much! ). But I know I am happy, and I think that’s what matters. Don’t you think we fight? Yes, we do, sometime! Sometimes for very silly reasons! Don’t you think we talk about breaking up? Yes, we do that too! Don’t you think we feel insecure? Yes we do, its pretty obvious as there are a lot of better and hotter people around who can make us jealous. So, what do you think keeps us together? Her cute smile? No. But it works sometimes though. Because, after a long tiresome day, She’s the one who lights me up! She’s the one whom I can txt at four in the morning and talk gibberish and She’ll listen patiently and nod occasionally half asleep just to let me know She’s there. Doesnt matter how much her cologne costs, her T-shirts smell better without it. The way she lets me win every game of counter strike , we play and thinks I am too little to understand that. I know She’s no Snow White nor I am a Prince Charming, it’s not a fairy tale we live in. We are same as all the people in this world, imperfect. But it’s the imperfection in us that seems so perfect. And that perfection makes our story a happy one!
