I doubt that our grandchildrens grandchildren are going to care which way we voted in the referendum.I believe theyre more likely to ask, Did fish taste good? or What was Bangladesh? The capitalism that we endorse today is unsustainable - it needs to be altered or it will alter us. Thats my belief. Thats my ideology. Thats where Ill put my chips: The existence and continuation of life relies upon current economic systems changing. Any blip on the world stage that says a populace can bring about changes despite immense power structures being aligned against them is a good thing. Any sign that people can hold their governments nuts in their grip, not the other way round, is a good thing. Right? Or not right...? There is a glint of light, a microscopic possibility that this could be part of a slowly accumulating socioeconomic paradigm shift, and an independent Scotland could be a tiny agent in this, a wee willy winky amoeba moving slowly towards the light and yet being that light at the same time. Its just a glint, mind. ;)
