I enjoy writing funny things so here goes - When I was a little girl my favorite thing to do was buy paper dolls with beautiful clothes and pretend the doll was me all dressed up and beautiful. I love beautiful clothes and I enjoy dressing up. That being said, today while I was putting my face on, they played a song that triggered my memory. Bruce traveled during our marriage and oftentimes when he came in or Friday afternoons he would be extremely tired. However, on this particular Friday, he and I decided to go over to Conyers after I returned home from work. I always wore nice dress clothes to work and that day I had worn a pair of Navy Dress Slacks, A White blouse trimmed in Navy, and Navy dress heels. I was standing up front waiting for Bruce and an older lady approached me and asked this question. Do they still dress like that? It shocked me so, I didnt know what to say. I thought she was making fun of me so I finally said, Well, I dont know if they still dress like this, but I still do. She said, You look nice. She then remarked that no one dresses up any more. After getting in the car, and telling Bruce what had happened, it struck me as so funny. I just couldnt stop laughing. You never know the impression we make on others, and as I try to tell Robin, someone is always looking and watching. Remembering the past, it always has a way of slipping in to arouse all the memories. AS for me, I surely do miss those precious times. Have a good rest of the day FB friends. Love you all.
