I explored iPhonography this past week in Cuba. The iPhone 6 has a very simple and sophisticated set of photographic tools packed into it. I primarily used the camera in traditional and square format, Pano mode for super encompassing landscape and abstract images, and on my last evening in Havana I played with the time-lapse mode for some fun cruising the Malecon in a 52 Chevy footage. I dont believe the iPhone will replace my DSLR kit anytime soon; I do not like to work with JPEG files. I prefer to be able to do all my own post production editing, and until a true RAW format is available, I will stick to my D600 for more critical work. But with that said, in abundant lighting situations and for quick access, the iPhone is a brilliant camera.
