I feel awful for what I just did. I had a bad experience at Movie - TopicsExpress

I feel awful for what I just did. I had a bad experience at Movie Trading Company last night, so I wrote in and complained. When I was in a store, I always hated it when people did things like that. I feel like I had a reason to complain, though. Not only did I get awful trade values for my items, but for one of them, a CD that came out this week, I got $1.00. I think it was a mistake, but when I asked, the associate told me, I dont pick the prices, and your CD isnt new, since its not still sealed. He clearly didnt understand that I meant new in the sense that it only came out 4 days ago. Also, he was playing some sort of awful folk-black metal album in the store. It was so awful and ridiculous, I thought it was a joke. It was like melodic acoustic guitars and lutes and flutes, with vampire whisper growl vocals, and some Nosferatu singing here and there. How is that a real thing!? This same associate (last time I was in) came into the store with a bag of food from Wendys, walked behind the counter, stood at a register, and then proceeded to play air drums for about 10 minutes, while another associate actually rang the people in line up. It was frustrating to have him stand there and not help the next person in line, Dave Luke. Having worked in a store, and still working in retail now, experiences like this frustrate me, and if it was my store, I would want to know this kind of thing was happening. The email I sent was more eloquently worded and concise than this post, so I hope it can help them to ensure other customers have a better experience. Either way, I felt like a jerk and a cranky old asshole for complaining. As a store associate, I wasnt always perfect every day, and shit, I used to play the music I liked when I worked at record stores. Am I a hypocrite for sending in a complaint?
