I feel old today....my hip hurts. I remember the day it happened...you know that old injury....heres the throwback. It was about 1977 and I was iceskating at Woodfield Malls rink that they had back then. I had the Dorothy Hamill haircut and was practicing moves like I was Tai Babilonia or maybe even Linda Bernard~ when I fell on my left hip. It hurt so bad I could not get up. I remember my mom helping me to the car and how we iced it and iced it but it killed to walk on forever and finally sort of healed. But certain times...it would just hurt. An old injury. Today it is called Arthritus and it sucks. But...I am not complaining just sort of kvetching...for the moment because this too shall pass and I will always rock on and remind myself that everyone over 40, yes, thats when it happens....sorry...we all have aches and pains. Some in the heart. Some in the soul. Some in the ass. So...you might ask as some have...who the F am I?? Im Gayle and I have arthritis too. So what.
