I feel the need to say this. Recently we posted a photo of one of our dancers; we posted it because we are proud to have them in our company and because it was a beautiful and artistic photograph. There were some comments made on our page and shared from our page that I found disrespectful. The comments were based around how thin this dancer appears to be in this picture. Two things that I want to make sure the people that follow us understand. One, our dancers work incredibly hard to maintain their physique but in no way are they pressured or encouraged to live an unhealthy lifestyle. Quite the opposite. Second, and most important of all, we will defend and protect our dancers and their feelings to no end. We share a lot of personal information and pictures of our dancers solely because we are proud of them, but I can promise that we want them to be comfortable with what we post more than we want Facebook likes. The decision to post that photo was mine and I stand by it, because it is a gorgeous picture. If you have any personal issue with this statement, please feel free to contact me directly.
