I fell behind on the things Im thankful for: Day 5: Im thankful for my Grandma Mary Elaine Carpenter - she read aloud to me often as a child, and when Im reading certain books, its usually still her voice I hear in my head. Day 6: Im thankful for my Grandma Pat Weidenhammer - she watch Steve Urkel and Dirty Dancing with me, and she was the best fun to go shopping with! I still miss her every day. Day 7: Im thankful for my Grandpa Dale Weidenhammer - I didnt get to know him as well as I should have, but I know how deeply he cares about me. I used to love playing in his backyard and riding on his lawn mower. Day 8: Im thankful for my Great Aunt Ardith and Great Uncle Leo Rodney - they were like having another set of grandparents, and I think I owe my love of reading all to them. They read to me when I was just weeks old. Day 9: Im thankful for my Great Aunt Carol - shes opinionated, stubborn, and brutally honest so I know it runs in the family, and I dont feel so crazy when Im acting the same way ;-) Day 10: Im thankful for my Aunt Mary Anne - shes so friendly, compassionate, and she lives her life to the fullest. I wish I was more like her.
