I fell in love with a shadow A purple silhouette The walls I bang into Do nothing to get her wet Her words were a soft Tune I dare not reject I cut a light on to view Her, but she at times won’t reflect I fear cutting the light out But she passes with the day With no illumination I just Smirk, lower my gaze,and wave Try not to be sad when I know Her frame is gone Makes me anxious for the next time I turn the lights on
