I fell over one of Barts Crocs on Jan 1, 2015, 1st day with no regular health insurance, wouldnt ya know! It hurt and swelled up, but I could still walk on it, just couldnt move it in either diagonal angle without pain. Over the past few weeks, its been very tender, but I could still walk on it. Pain has gotten a bit worse, so went to Any Lab Test Now, Covington, OV $49. They wrote me orders for xrays at Medical Center Diagnostics / 2 views of ankle $45. Having no regular insurance (except for the new alternative Christian Healthcare Ministries where we pay the first $500) I was a little uncertain about going. But, if youre willing to do a little brain work first, you can do ok without traditional health insurance. Waiting on results of xrays right now, but Im impressed and satisfied with both of the providers I saw today, and both were a pleasure to work with and with no insurance, VERY AFFORDABLE!!!
