I finally tried something new! Every Christmas I struggle with the idea of a Christmas tree. It seems such a waste to kill a tree just so I can decorate my house for a few weeks. But, at the same time, it doesnt feel like Christmas without one. I tried a fake one for years, but it wasnt very fulfilling. Ive had a real one the past few years. Today I was wrestling with the idea, then came up with a plan! I have a dead bush in my backyard that will need to be removed. I took a few branches from it and turned it into my Christmas tree! Its different, and I kind of miss the pine smell, but it does feel like Christmas now!
