I find it quite interesting what we as a society embrace as Love. All of it quite selfish. If you leave me my heart will be broken to bits. You must be loyal to me and I must be able to trust you to not hurt me. I will do this for you if you are willing to do that for me. You and me against the world. We will have each others back and we will defend each other against the outside world. This is what we call a Love relationship or what the Course calls the “special relationship”. This is simply not Love in my experience and yet it is considered completely acceptable and normal to most
