I find myself confused. This must be one of those situations where I have to carefully have to examine my automatic thoughts and any possible cognitive distortions I am having. So, I turn in my assignment for this one class (has happened twice now) then the instructor returns the assignment to me ungraded with suggestions on what I could add to make the paper an A. I make the changes and the teacher grades it and returns it with an A grade. On the one hand, I’m thankful and grateful that the instructor won’t let me get a grade lower than A. On the other hand, I’m ticked that she won’t just let me get the grade and keep moving forward, ir-regardless of the grade. Can not recall having an instructor take it upon herself to make sure that I only turned in A work. I’ve asked instructors in the past what I could do to make sure I got a passing grade because the class was challenging (i.e.: my statistics class in my BSW program). Ok, if the instructor keeps this up, I’m going to get another perfect quarter. I should just sit down, close my mouth and be happy.
