I found this article interesting, especially considering the publication that printed it. About 50 years ago, give or take a few, there was public debate between Paul R. Erlich and Milton Friedman about free marketplace economics versus the number of people who would starve to death. Both had unyielding followers then and some of their followers are involved in our current political polarization. Most of us are really somewhere in between and from time-to-time have one foot in either camp. A few of us have one foot firmly planted in each camp and are struggling with issues that include matters of conscience and how we act in accordance with our religious faith. forbes/sites/michaeltobias/2013/01/16/the-ehrlich-factor-a-brief-history-of-the-fate-of-humanity-with-dr-paul-r-ehrlich/
