I found this flower at Sunset Park in North Bay, Ontario a few - TopicsExpress

I found this flower at Sunset Park in North Bay, Ontario a few days ago. Sunset Park is a little spit of land jutting into Lake Nipissing. This flower was among hundreds in a patch a few square meters in size. The grass is regularly cut so only wildflowers this small have a chance. Because of its small size I picked the whole flower for ID purposes I believe it is a Corn Gromwell (Lithospermum arvense) -- 5 petaled flower, entire alternative leaves, flowers stalkless, growing singly in the upper axils. My Algonquin checklist doesnt have this species but I live a few hundred kilometers away from the area it covers. Do you agree?
