I found this posted on DD--Im posting it because its exactly what Ive been saying for those who say recast Robin if Kim doesnt want to stay Just curious. How would scrubs fans feel about a recast Robin? I think Robin is one of the very few characters who could never be recast. It just wouldnt work. Asking as a jasam fan, what about a Jason recast? I think a Jason recast is easier to accept than a Robin recast. Not exactly sure why though. Maybe it has to do with KMc playing Robin for so long starting when she was a little girl. With Jason, SB may have played him for a long time but he didnt originate the role. Just my opinion, but if think it might work- depending on who they cast. Even though Steve Burton played the role for so long, the audience didnt literally see him grow up on the show like they did with Kimberly. im saying if this show does stay on long enough for Brooklyn to grow up on the show--even though she wasnt the original baby but the fact that she was 5 when she took over the role--I think someday well be saying the same thing about her--not only does it depend on the show lasting another 15 -20 years which to me is unlikely, but it also depends on Jason not deciding to leave--there very few that can leave and come back like Finola and Tristan have done over the years
