I fully admit to being more of a Facebook people watcher than an active participant. I guess I better take my turn to share... Name: Formerly known as Blanche Britton Owens Places I have Lived: Price, West Valley City, Murray, Kearns, and my current residence, Bluffdale, UT Schooling: College of Eastern Utah, SLCC Occupation: Registered Nurse in Womens Services at Riverton Hospital Hobbies: Quilting, racquetball, basketball, Zumba, and hosting family parties. Biggest Triumph: Convincing Brad Britton that I was not quite as crazy as my actions made him think I was. I mean, who doesnt secretly start using the last name of their crush thereby inadvertently convincing neighbors that we were engaged even though we hadnt ever been on a date? The fact that he gave me a chance after that whole thing went down-WOW! Items crossed off bucket list: Marry, have children, cruise to Alaska. Items still on bucket list: Awesome family vacations-I loved Alaska with my boyfriend, but Id love to take our kids along on a cruise next time. I also want to obtain a large painting or print of Mount Timpagogos as seen from Orem. I can see Timp. from my house, but I want to hang it on my wall and have the view I grew up with. What I wish I had known 20 years ago: Im good enough, Im smart enough, and doggone it, people like me. What makes me happy: I love family parties/reunions/get-togethers. It sounds cheesy to say family makes me happy, but I just came home from work to an empty house. (My boys are at scout camp and my girls are at Young Women camp.) I feel empty and I cant wait until we get to be together again! I will kill the time looking at my yearbook and catching up with the Bruins of 94. Unfortunately, I will not be attending our class reunion because I will be at a family reunion and family reunions make me happy:) Go Bruins!
