I fully support the NYPD because they do have one of the most difficult jobs in New York State. But this right here just shows why the police force is being given a bad name country wide. Because (not all) they abide by the laws AS THEY SEE FIT NOT AS THE LAWS ARE WRITTEN. This officer could have been productively serving and protecting the city of New York. Instead, he argues and harasses a man in the subway for playing his guitar after reading the law out loud that states it is perfectly legal and within the law to play guitar in the subway. This man playing the guitar did his research and new the law of which he assumed he was PROTECTED by. After an embarrassing charade (for the officer) of a subway full of people defending the guitarist, they still arrest this man, with what I counted as three uniformed officers and two plain clothes officers. 5 NYPD officers to arrest one man, not resisting. There are way too many illegal activities going on in that city for this to be ANYWHERE on the PDs priority list. I hope this collar got you somewhere other than blasted all over the internet for being the ignorant piece of shit officer you are. As for the detained... Rock on man.
