I get up and decided to run 4 errands early this morning. I check my wallet and I have a $20, $5 and $2 ones in cash. So I go to one store to mail a package. The lady says that will be $6.48 I say what? I mailed the same box yesterday from here and it was $3.27. She gets a little upset but finally says well to just prove you wrong I will do it again. She does and says oh, good call I guess you are right I dont know what went wrong. I tell her no problem and leave. Off to the next store to buy white cotton yarn, I give the lady my torn wadded up $20 and she gives me back change for a $10. I say oh oh, I gave you a $20 and I describe it to her. I am the first customer of the day. Now there are 3 people behind me, she calls a manager. The manager is mad and refuses to do anything and keeps getting louder and louder. I just look at her and said I dont know why you are getting upset, I am the one loosing $10. She wont open the till to look and wont do anything. Finally I say just open the till and in front of these people you can prove if I am right or not. She finally opens it and there is the only $20 bill in the till and it is wadded up and torn. She tosses it across the counter and says........fine lets just pretend this never happened. I left crying from the stress and embarrassment.............off to a good day..........and all I wanted to do was bake and make some dishcloths
