I got 8. 1. Youngest of 4 children. To this day were all best friends. 2. Was a manager in NYS Tax until I was 42. I became disabled due to a closed environment where the air/vent system was broken and they were spraying pesticides thinking that the fiberglass particles falling from the ceilings were bugs causing bites. Because I was a NYS state employee I couldnt sue NYS and because they didnt want to admit blame I lost out on disability retirement. (It wasnt only me, there were numerous people who became disabled. 3. I went through 5 years of cognitive rehab because of this. 4. Through my disability I realized I was given a gift because I was able to have my Mom move in with me. I had 7 years of very special times with her that I wouldnt have had if I was working. 5. When I moved to Florida I decided I needed a passion. After joining several activities I tried pottery. At first I was really really bad but my family loved my pieces anyway encouraging me to continue. After almost 10 years I have improved. 6. Im passionate about animal rights and always spread the word about people going to rescues for their furbabies. Yes there are some legitimate passionate breeders but so many are just puppymills and we need to save these. 7. I met my first true love when I was 24. Unfortunately he passed away when I was 44. At the time I didnt know if I could love deeply again but I did twice more. They also passed away. Ive decided I was lucky and unlucky with love and now Ill just have great friends. 8. My internet experience started with Baby Boomers and Ive been so lucky to meet over 300 of them. Out of that Ive gained some lifelong friends some who have become my family in my heart. I know love can be found on the internet. I have numerous friends who have found fabulous people. My own nephew and his wife found each other on the internet and now have two adorable children. Between my nieces and nephews I have 16 grand nieces and nephews. So thats me. Kathie.
