I got the pleasure of spending my day with my princess Hailey. And after the grocery shopping challenge with a four year old and all the back to school shoppers we were now ready to head back home after first stopping for a happy meal at McDonalds. Once the groceries were taken care of Hailey and I headed out for a ride to the other side of the brook. We came upon some sand on our travels that Hailey just had to play in and while Hailey was getting nice and sandy I decided to scope out a rock pile for some different shaped rocks. Hailey was having fun but she decided she wanted to play in the rocks with me instead so she asked can I come with you and of course I said yes. As I was looking at a rock Hailey headed over my way then all of a sudden I heard her say ouch and she start crying. I knew something was wrong as I darted over her way. I had scoped her up in my arms so quickly and immediately started running just as fast as my legs would carry me. As Im trying to protect her from the swarm of honey bees that we accidently came upon. My Hailey was stung once under her eye and once on her foot and I was stung 5 times as I was trying desperately to protect her. I was quite concerned as we hurried back to the house because I wasnt sure rather she was allergic and her face immediately started to swell. Once we got back to the house Chet doctored Hailey up with some ice while I called Jeremy to make sure we didnt need to be rushing her to a hospital. What a day we all have had and of course with Chet paying a little extra attention to all his girls but especially to Hailey for what ended up being a very exhausting day for all with the great outdoors. Well some days not so great but always good.
