I guess its time I officially announce this. I didnt know if I should even post this because I didnt want to deal with all the questions and such, but here goes nothing… Ive decided to change my major (yes, for the 3rd time) to just regular Psychology, but Ill still be minoring in Criminal Justice. I know I was saying how I love music therapy and its definitely the right path for me, but Ive now realized that I can be a regular counselor and still incorporate music into my sessions with my clients. I was absolutely dreading coming back to school this semester and I was even thinking of taking a year off school, but now that Ive switched and am looking at my new schedule, I feel so much more at ease and less stressed about school. I know this is the right decision for me. Ill still be in choir and Im taking another music class that counts for the Liberal Arts requirement, so thankfully Ill still be involved in some music during school. So yeah… thats my big rambling post for the day. And thank you to the few people who have actually supported me in this decision! It means a lot. :) oh and for those of you who have actually read this far, Allie is also leaving music therapy. Okay bye.
