I guess the Lord had me going to Phelps today at the right time. I ran into Lily at the foot of Widows Branch mountain (Stopover side) with a metal five gallon kerosene can, no gloves on, and wearing a dress and the temp in the 20s I picked her up, dropped her off at Double Qwik, then took care of what I needed to and went back and got her and took her home. I wonder how many people passed her up. I dont say this for applause, just that we, including myself forget about checking on the elderly and those who dont have the means of transportation. Hopefully, I will be more mindful of them, but thankful I was on time today.
