I had Iftar at Nandos(Dhanmondi 27) yesterday, 23rd July 2014. When I got out, half way to Shimanto Square, I realized to have left my iPhone 5 on the table in a hurry and went back to Nandos within hardly 10 minutes. The phone was gone. When I left my phone and was getting out, a waitress was cleaning our table. But when asked she replied to have taken only the glasses and a waiter showed up to mention that he was the one who cleaned the entire table and havent found anything on it. Their behavior seemed very fishy, but as it was my own fault forgetting the phone out there carelessly, I was helpless. Although the manager was helpful and gave his number to inform us. He checked the washrooms and everywhere possible. Later calling an acquaintance for help, I got to know that this kind of incident happened before at Nandos and the phones were found hidden inside the washrooms after searching via ringtones. Unfortunately anyone can turn iPhones silent instantly. It was ringing at the first 5 times I tried calling. Later was turned off. There was a couple sitting right next to our table when we got out. Im basically writing here hoping theyd see this and try to help. Or anyone who were present there, if they have noticed the incident of taking the phone from the table. Please help me back. I have already filed a report at Dhanmondi Model Thana with the IMEI number. But if anyone could help me get it faster. It will be appreciable.
