I had a fairly significant amount of hair cut off my ponytail yesterday. The ends had just reached that point where no amount of trimming was going to straighten them out. John joined me for the adventure but, evidently was enjoying chatting with some of our neighbors from the other side of the hill that also were at the shop. At the end of the cut, Karen french braided it up and we said our goodbyes and headed out for the rest of out day. John commented on how much he likes it when it is braided this way. I told him that I would have to teach him how to do it as I am completely unable to duplicate the braid on my own head. All was good... THEN, last night I pulled the braid out as I was getting ready for bed. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR?!!! came roaring out of my husbands mouth. What? I asked. YOUR HAIR, YOUR HAIR!!! Where? Good Grief...you would have thought that I had completely buzzed it off. It is still below my shoulders for goodness sake. What is it with men and hair length? For a guy who wants me to cut his hair practically completely off every other week because it bothers him, John sure has a skewed sense of what hair length should be on me...
