I had a full constituency day which started with a breakfast - TopicsExpress

I had a full constituency day which started with a breakfast question an answer session at the Woodstock Club with local businessmen and voluntary groups. There were a couple of highlights (details of which will follow soon); the first was a visit to Sheerness and Sittingbourne cemeteries with a representative from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It was humbling to see that the Commission (with the help of funding from the Government) is still maintaining the graves of brave local people who sacrificed their lives for the nation so many years ago. I will talk more about this later. I also visited the Sainsbury store in Sittingbourne to shadow one of the floor managers who, with their dedicated staff, ensure that customers provide the best possible service. Having spent much of my life in retail I found the visit quite fascinating. I will post more later. Today was one of the privileges of being MP!
