I had a really busy day today. I had appointment to get my Germany hair cut . Ive been told we are going to be busy so I needed a cut thats wash and wear... it certainly is that, but I can let it grow back or not. I also had an emergency dental appointment today after eating popcorn last night and breaking one of my front teeth. I could hardly go to Germany with a not so fashionable bob and a half a tooth missing. Then I came home and went over things with my grand daughter as she will be house sitting and taking care of my Cockatiel. . After all that, I almost stayed home from church tonight but I wanted to go and I am so glad I did. I drove back to Roxboro feeling a wonderful peace (despite what I was told what my flight plans are :) ). To everyone who came to me telling me they would be praying for me on my first Mission trip, thank you. I covet your prayers for me and the whole team. This is indeed a different kind of mission that we are undertaking, but how wonderful to be able o support our missionaries with love and our help with the kids from bed babies to teenagers, and even with Little Debbies. It is our prayer that God will be our guide and that He will be glorified in everything that we do. Although I will not be working directly with the children I am hopeful I can give some granny hugs and get some in return. I pray that we see a renewed energy and stamina among the missionaries who rarely have interaction with thier American counterparts and that we will see happy smiles on the faces of the children by weeks end. Again thank all of you for your love and support and most of all your prayers. I love you all. Please remember Shay, Rodney and many other people who worked long and hard to make this trip possible. I dont want to give them a big head, but they are AWESOME !!! GO GERMANY!!!
