I had been struggling with feeding the twins a lot this past week. They would take a bite and then just sit with it in their mouths. So I did what all moms probably do when they are about to loose it. I googled! Within minutes, I had pages and pages of upset moms complaining the same thing. One post kind of stood out. The mom suggested that it might be more developmental than behavioral. That the food might be getting into the area of the mouth that they havnt learned to roll their tongue to move it out. So the next meal, I kept a close eye. Sure enough, they got them stuck in the exact same places. I introduced a game to roll our tongues in our mouths and they were eating normally by the 2nd meal alhamdulilla. I am both surprised and happy. A mothers experience in 2008 was there for my help. All I had to do was go out and find it. To all my moms who have a particular difficult issue they are facing, parenting isnt natural. Like all things, you need to get knowledge and experience. Read and read and read. There are a million ways to do it. You will find a way best for you, your child and your home. Happy parenting everyone! :)
