I had booked an AirAsia flight from Taipei to Kalibo (Boracay) for middle of May. I was happy that AirAsia would now offer direct flights from Taiwan to Boracay. Today, I got the following email: At AirAsia Zest, we deeply value your relationship with us and are committed to providing you with the highest level of service. Unfortunately, due to unexpected operational constraints we have to temporarily forego of our plans for this route. Meaning: the flight is cancelled. Very bad, since I had already booked and fully paid all the hotels in Boracay. The options I got in the email were: rerouting the flights, get ticket vouchers for the same ticket price as paid valid for 180 days, or get a refund. I called them just now and it turned out: flight cannot be rerouted because no flights availabe. The other two options are not good enough, because I already have in full paid all the hotels!! So much for providing the highest level of service...I wrote to them another mail, lets see what happens.
