I had forgotten to do an intro. Thanks for the add. My best friend bought a corvair, a 64 Monza. Im so happy for her, to know what we know about classic car ownership. So Im here to help her along the way. My family has a century long affair with air cooled cars. My great grandfather, great uncle and others were early employees of Franklin Motors. My Great Grandad also worked for Franklin Air Cooled and handled R&D on projects for Bell helicopter, the flying wing and the Tucker. My dad taught automotive systems and industrial arts and I work for Auto Gear. Were gearbox designers, builders and we also carry a large inventory of parts for obsolete gearboxes. Our flagship product is our Syracuse 4spd, an all new construction version of the Muncie, sized for modern power., with 18 different ratios.
