I had great time talking with students participating in Farmington Freshman Academy at the High School this morning. Great group of students and some are more together in the 9th grade than some college students. Nothing more powerful than intention but it only gets you so far. I shared my journey and some advice for living life. I shared with them the importance of dreaming big (the size of the question, dictates the size of the answer; so ask BIG Questions) developing a plan around that dream (the most well intentions die without a plan of action/follow-though) and lastly; who are you sharing your dream with and surrounding yourself with (dont take No from someone who doesnt have power to give you a YES). Thanks Coach Tracy Sutton for the invite. Success and luck happen with preparation meets opportunity. Odell Beckham gave us a great illustration of this last night. The light bulb when off for all the guys when I referenced this. #educator #teachablemoments
