I had somebody ask if I could post fitness tips from time to time. Alrighty then. Here is one I posted on a friends wall yesterday. Trying to lose excess body fat? Here are some common misbehaviors: Long - Term Excessive Calorie Restriction (Yes you need a calorie deficit to lose weight, but you are likely below that deficit if you are very active and on a restricted eating regime.) Too much Cardio! (Your body adapts to lower calorie consumption just as it will with exercise. Doing too much will force your body to need more over time to lose weight and obstruct your hormones and lean muscle tissue that helps burn fat.) Not enough rest (When you dont sleep enough your insulin sensitivity decreases and your cortisol levels go up. Both of these will lead to less than optimal fat loss.)
