I had sooo much to do today..former foster son staffing in winterset ..left at 10:30 n back by 3..frank did well throughtout that time..started working on drinking some water n that went fairly well..till he can swallow. .tube stats in..mayo next mon..hoping to be ready by then..then 2 different neighbors stopped over before I left to volunteer at a pizza place that closes his doors on Mon. To serve the homeless b homeless Vets..worked 4:30 til 8..loved it..showered n ready to relax..gutter Topper ppl called.ing between 7 -8 AM to install tops on our gutters tomorrow. .early day... Frank gets stronger daily. .motivated to have a speedy recovery. .we have some sad moments but usually start laughing n joking. ..thinking tears r healthy at times so experiencing many emotions but center ourselves n get back to being warriors n faith inspired..what a journey..day 12 after surgery..think we r both doing as well as possible. .he didnt lose anymore weight today..praise the Lord..added more ensure...7 instead of 6..made him eggnog for protein as well..added n other day closer to full recovery..His stoma is closing more daily..very small now. .yes! ..hugs
