I had the opportunity to spend the weekend with my two sons. Beginning with baseball practices Fri evening and Sat morning, followed by a Sunday on St Catherines Island with Jim and Mary Beth, my new neighbors. We saw something I had never seen before. Three bald eagles perched together in the dead trees of St Cats southeastern face, along with an osprey. What a thrill! This follows a bad experience from the weekend before, when we saw the first dead dolphin I have ever seen in person, in the South Newport River. All in all, a riveting tableau of the wild GA coast.
